Rules/reasons I'm couponing.
We have a target, Wal-mart, Safeway, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walgreen's, and 3 locally owned stores I shop at. So here we go. If you want some good tips I use afullcup.com (AFC), and thekrazycouponlady.com (KCL) Our new paper doesn't carry the inserts for the coupons. So I buy them from people off of afullcup.com (AFC). I allow myself 60.00 a month to buy my coupons. My family of 5 has been spending about 1000.00 a month on groceries and other items we need so I'm going to try and get that down by 1/3 in 6 months. My rules are 1. only spend 60.00 or less on coupons 2. watch sales 3. if the store brand is something we will use buy that if it's cheaper than the national brand and coupon. 4. not allowed to stock pile more than 10 items if it's something we don't use a lot of. 5. if it's cheaper homemade then make it don't buy it. 6. Shop by myself (We will see how this goes) Wish me luck.
Walmart May 2011
I have a 2 month old son who is on formula. I have 45 bottles of the 1 qt. Simalic Adv. ready to pour.I t's 5.47 regular price. My friend gave me 45 5.00 off coupon. So the end price was 47 cents. It's not the normal brand we buy, but it was cheap and I'm planing on using it up when Kamryn switches to a sippy cup. It will make it easier to just pour into his cup than mix the powder and water in a bottle then pour it into the cup. Then things I've learned with Kamryn that I wished I knew with Ricky and Gracie.

Burger Tip
My husband and I buy 15 to 20 lbs of hamburger at a time I used to have the place put in 1 lb packages thinking that will save me sometime when I get home just to toss it in the deep freeze. Well, that took up a lot of space doing that. I was thinking one day after getting home and being almost out of room why not put each pound in a baggie and push them flat. It saves of defrost time and cooking. :)
